I did get some sewing done today, but I also spent some time learning to pick cherries. Sticky, messy work perched atop a ladder, but I did gain a new appreciation for those who do it for a living. Hard work!

This weekend A attended a blow-out Harry Potter overnight birthday party complete with Potions and Runes classes. And chocolate Snitches. We all have our strengths, and I am thinking that organizing this kind of party is probably NOT in my portfolio. I just want to say for the record: thank goodness for other children's parents!
