Our delightful Japanese exchange student returns to Japan in the morning--leaving in her wake lots of fun memories of sushi making, canoeing--and this curious product: Green Tea Kit Kats. At first it seemed an odd sort of East-meets-West conglomeration. But my first taste had me smiling. Thank you, E!

I'm ready for the big day tomorrow and thought I would compare my preparations with those of my favorite Safeway. It was a pretty display, but I'm still not sure what the luck-o-the-Irish rainbow was doing over the meat locker. Corned beef, maybe? (But really, it looked mostly like some kind of sausage...)
